Are You Bothering Your Realtor? Not at All

If you have ever started a message to your Realtor with, “Sorry to bother you,” let me stop you right there: you are not bothering me.

Buying or selling a home comes with questions, decisions and plenty of moments when you need a quick answer. Staying in touch is not an inconvenience—it is part of how we make good decisions and keep the process moving.

Here are five things you never need to apologize for doing as my client.

1. Calling Me—Even More Than Once

Call me when you have a question, notice something in a contract or simply need clarification. If I can answer, I will. If I am with another client or tied up, I will call you back.

You do not have to save every question for one perfectly timed conversation.

2. Texting Me Every House You Find

Send me one listing. Send me twelve. I want to know what catches your eye.

The homes you save and share tell me a great deal about what you like, what you do not like and which features matter most to you. Even a house that is not quite right helps narrow the search.

3. Owning a Home That Doesn’t Look Like HGTV

Your house does not need trendy furniture, perfect accessories or magazine-worthy rooms before you call me.

I can help you decide what truly needs attention before selling and what is not worth the time or expense. Good bones, proper maintenance and smart preparation matter more than trendy pillows.

4. Having a Big or Small Budget

Everyone deserves a Realtor who listens, works hard and treats their goals seriously.

Whether you are buying your first place, searching for a beach getaway or considering a luxury Gulf-front home, your budget does not determine how much care and attention you deserve.

5. Asking a Million Questions

Ask me twice. Ask me ten times. Real estate involves contracts, deadlines, inspections, financing, insurance and plenty of unfamiliar language.

I would much rather explain something again than have you feel uncertain about an important decision.

Good Communication Is Part of Good Representation

You are not expected to know everything about buying or selling real estate. That is why you hire a professional.

My job is to help you understand your choices, protect your interests and feel comfortable throughout the transaction. So call, text, send the listing and ask the question. You are not bothering me—you are giving me something to do besides scroll through listings I have already seen.

If you are thinking about buying or selling in Crystal Beach or anywhere on the Bolivar Peninsula, I would be happy to talk with you.
